🔹Definition: Contrast agents is defined as radiopaque substances that have been developed to alter artificially the density of different parts of the patient, thus altering the subject contrast.
🔹Requirement of Contrast Media: The contrast media should be adequately radiopaque to show good contrast. They should be viscous enough that they require considerable pressure to be introduced. The contrast media should have low-surface tension.
